LAS VEGAS, U.S. -- Xpeng Aeroht's flying car made its international debut at the CES electronics show in Las Vegas on Tuesday, as China attempts to outmaneuver U.S. in the nascent industry by leveraging its strengths in electric vehicle technology.

Mass production of the Land Aircraft Carrier, which consists of a flying module with two seats for low-altitude transport and a six-wheeled module with four seats for use on the ground, is expected to begin in 2026, said Wang Tan, co-founder of Xpeng Aeroht, now a subsidiary of EV maker Xpeng Motors.
