NAGOYA, Japan -- A growing number of Chinese robotics startups are setting up facilities in Aichi prefecture in central Japan, aiming to automate the home of the country's auto industry amid a prolonged labor shortage.
Shanghai-based JAKA Robotics has opened a development hub in the city of Toyohashi, and Shenzhen's Dobot has set up a testing center in Nagoya.
