SINGAPORE -- Cisco Systems expects developing Asia-Pacific economies, especially those of India and Indonesia, to give themselves the opportunity to "leapfrog" the rest of the world as they accelerate their rates of digital adoption.

In an interview with Nikkei Asia, Dave West, the president of Cisco's Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China (APJC) operations, said that within the region, "one of those markets that are accelerating incredibly fast is the India market."
