TOKYO -- Fujitsu plans to engage in a succession of overseas purchases each worth over $100 million, its chief financial officer said, as the Japanese technology group seeks to expand its presence in the international tech solutions industry.

"We'll engage in mergers and acquisitions in the lower tens of billions of yen range," said Takeshi Isobe, the CFO. Ten billion yen is roughly $75 million.
