JAKARTA -- Indonesian superapp GoTo Group has nominated Patrick Walujo to be its new CEO, as the e-commerce platform provider pushes to achieve profitability.

Walujo, who once worked at U.S. investment bank Goldman Sachs, will replace Andre Soelistyo, who is slated to become deputy chairman, the company announced on Thursday. Walujo currently serves as a member of GoTo's board of commissioners.
