KUALA LUMPUR -- Oracle announced plans on Wednesday to invest over $6.5 billion in cloud infrastructure in Malaysia, marking a significant expansion of its AI and cloud services in the country.

The announcement boosts Malaysia's rise as a Southeast Asian digital hub, driven by surging demand for artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure and data analytics.
