HONG KONG -- Chinese autonomous driving companies WeRide and Pony.ai, both listed on the Nasdaq, are pursuing secondary listings in Hong Kong to raise funds to expand their fleets amid a push for commercialization, people familiar with the matter told Nikkei Asia.

WeRide submitted a formal application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange before the Lunar New Year, sources said, while another said Pony.ai is accelerating discussions with investment banks and the bourse.
