BARCELONA, Spain -- AI device maker Humane is bringing its smart pin to Japan and South Korea as the U.S. startup backed by Microsoft and Sam Altman makes its first overseas push, its co-founders told Nikkei Asia.

San Francisco-based Humane's Ai Pin was developed by former Apple designers. It fits in the palm and can be attached to clothing, allowing it to act as a wearable, voice-activated smart assistant.
