SEOUL -- Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong on Monday was found not guilty of stock price manipulation and accounting fraud that prosecutors had alleged were used to secure his rise to the top of the global technology giant.

Prosecutors at the Seoul High Court had sought a prison sentence of five years.
