Samsung targets 20% faster AI chip delivery under one-stop service

Plans for 1.4-nm chips also on track, South Korea tech giant says

SEOUL -- Samsung Electronics will launch by 2027 a service that integrates the development, production and packaging of artificial intelligence chips, allowing clients to receive the devices 20% faster.

The plan was unveiled Thursday at the annual Samsung Foundry Forum in California for the company's customers and business partners. The U.S. is home to such key Samsung clients as chip design companies Nvidia and Advanced Micro Devices as well as Big Tech firms.
