SINGAPORE -- Singaporean tech group Sea on Wednesday opened its new global headquarters for digital financial services, signaling a deeper push into the growing fintech business as the company diversifies beyond its gaming and e-commerce roots.

Spanning 10 floors and more than 18,500 square meters, the new facility in the city-state will accommodate its more than 1,000 fintech professionals, with room for up to 1,500 employees. It will also house its tech hub focused on product management, artificial intelligence and anti-money laundering capabilities.
