TOKYO -- Sony Group set out a broad vision for the company's entertainment business at its annual corporate strategy meeting Wednesday, tying in moves as disparate as the acquisition of game developer Bungie and an electric vehicle partnership with Honda Motor.

The company seeks to "create a live network space that connects creators and users, while also generating new kando experiences," Chairman and CEO Kenichiro Yoshida said, repeatedly using a word that roughly means "emotional involvement" in Japanese and that has become a key concept for the company.
