SEOUL -- South Korean tech group Naver will develop generative AI technology in a bid to retool as Google cuts into its core domestic search engine business.

The artificial intelligence model, HyperCLOVA X, will be released this summer as part of its existing internet services. The company will also release a version for businesses to support operational efficiency.
