Southeast Asia taxi, food delivery companies eye tourism windfall

SINGAPORE -- Southeast Asia's ride-hailing and food delivery companies are joining forces in hopes of capturing growing tourism demand in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an unexpected move, food delivery company Foodpanda on Thursday entered into a strategic partnership with Tada, a ride-hailing service, as they begin marketing in Singapore and Cambodia, the host of this year's Southeast Asian Games in May.
