HSINCHU, Taiwan -- Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.'s new chairman has hinted that he is considering raising the price of his company's AI chip production services, and said he has already touched on the subject with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. 

Wei was speaking to reporters after TSMC's annual general meeting in Hsinchu on Tuesday, his first news conference in his new role.
