HONG KONG -- Tencent Holdings said Wednesday that it seeks to deploy its own foundation model for generative artificial intelligence sometime this year, as the Chinese tech group reported double-digit quarterly revenue growth.
The move comes as Chinese tech companies race to add generative AI features to their businesses for new revenue sources.
