HONG KONG -- China's most valuable company, Tencent Holdings, posted a much better-than-expected quarterly result on Wednesday, due to strong growth in AI-powered advertisements and a robust showing for its evergreen games.
In the October-December quarter, revenue at the Shenzhen-based company rose 11% on the year to 172.44 billion yuan ($23.8 billion), beating the average forecast of 168.95 billion yuan from analysts surveyed by LSEG.
