TOKYO -- U.S. business software provider ServiceNow plans to invest $2 billion in Japan over the next few years to expand its data center operation and local office, CEO Bill McDermott has told Nikkei.

Part of the spending will go toward data center expansion to accommodate the increase in client companies and enhance services that use generative artificial intelligence.
