SINGAPORE -- Vantage Data Centers, a U.S.-based operator catering to large tech companies, is preparing to meet rising demand for data from sophisticated artificial intelligence customers in Asia, including nascent Southeast Asian markets, according to the company's new regional head.

Global data center operators are expected to lease more capacity to companies offering generative AI, which requires larger facilities with high computing and workload capabilities. With the growing demand for more powerful servers, operators have to offer higher power density and better cooling.
