TAIPEI -- Taiwanese tech suppliers who have built production capacity in Vietnam as part of their supply chain diversification strategies are now facing growing requests from clients for "Vietnam+1" options ahead of Donald Trump's return as U.S. president.

That is according to the head of Taiwan's top trade promotion organization, the government-backed Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).
