HO CHI MINH CITY -- Vietnam is preparing to deploy artificial intelligence to spot tax evasion as part of a more tech-savvy approach to enforcement that is already bearing fruit for the communist nation.
Facebook, Microsoft, Lazada and other technology companies are paying more taxes, authorities said, thanks in part to a recently introduced electronic filing system.
