BENGALURU -- The telecommunications arm of Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries plans to launch 5G services in some of the country's biggest cities in the next couple of months, before expanding to the rest of the nation by 2023.

Reliance Jio will invest 2 trillion rupees ($25 billion) on rolling out the services, the group's chairman, Mukesh Ambani, said on Monday.
