TOKYO -- Japanese ruling party legislators are looking to revise laws governing Nippon Telegraph and Telephone to allow the telecom giant to pursue next-generation 6G technology without regulatory restrictions that undercut its global competitiveness.
The Liberal Democratic Party is putting together a project team to discuss the matter. The group will hold an executive meeting Tuesday ahead of an official launch by the end of the month.
