BANGKOK -- Thai Union Group, the world's largest canned tuna producer and one of Thailand's fastest growing multinational companies, will soon set up an international trading center in Bangkok to help launch its emerging markets business unit, targeting the Middle East, China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

"We have not started that business yet, but one of the initiatives associated with the emerging markets is to also start an international trading center," said Jeorg Ayrle, Thai Union's chief financial officer.
