ANA taps Marubeni for cheaper sustainable aviation fuel at Narita Airport

TOKYO -- Japanese trading house Marubeni has begun supplying All Nippon Airways with lower-emissions sustainable aviation fuel produced in South Korea by a method that cuts the cost.

The SAF is being procured from HD Hyundai Oilbank, then supplied from a Marubeni unit in Chiba prefecture, near Tokyo, to Narita Airport by pipeline.
