TOKYO -- ANA Holdings will launch a new budget brand, AirJapan, that will offer flights from Japan to Asia next year, the airline said Tuesday.

The move comes as the Japanese carrier looks for a new driver of earnings to help it recover from the pandemic, which has wreaked havoc on the industry.
