HONG KONG -- Cathay Pacific Airways Chairman Patrick Healy on Wednesday expressed concern over the trajectory of global trade since the return of U.S. President Donald Trump, warning of uncertainty in the key cargo business but vowing to weather the challenges.

Speaking at the Hong Kong flagship carrier's annual earnings news conference, after the company reported double-digit revenue growth, Healy stressed that the cargo operation was "absolutely central to the solid financial results last year."
