GUANGZHOU -- Electric vehicles aren't the only business on wheels that is growing for China's BYD.

A ship carrying five BYD monorail cars set sail in May from China's Jiangsu province, headed for Brazil. The cars will be used on a 17.7-kilometer line being built by the Sao Paulo Metro. The line will reportedly begin operation as early as 2026.
