JAKARTA -- As Indonesia's government aims to put 1 million electric two-wheelers on the road through 2024, local and Taiwanese brands are catching on with taxi and delivery drivers.

At a battery exchange station in Jakarta set up by state-owned power company PLN, riders can pull in and replace them with fully charged ones in less than a minute.
