TOKYO -- As the incoming president of Japan Airlines, former cabin attendant Mitsuko Tottori aims to enhance the carrier's flexibility in order to meet the demands of an increasingly diverse customer base.
"I have worked to adapt to changing values so customers keep choosing JAL," she said at a news conference Wednesday, when her appointment was announced. "Safety and service have been the linchpin of my career."
