CHIBA, Japan -- Japan Airlines will increase exports of fresh food to Thailand through a partnership with a Japanese market in Bangkok, using Narita Airport near Tokyo as a hub to expand its cargo business.

The carrier announced a tie-up with J Value, operator of the Thonglor Nihon Ichiba market. The facility caters to Japanese chefs, using air freight to offer seafood varieties such as tuna for which freshness is essential.
