TOKYO -- East Japan Railway will introduce new E10 series bullet trains in fiscal 2030, with improvements like roomier seats and better Wi-Fi, the company said Tuesday.

The new trains will gradually replace older rolling stock on the Tohoku Shinkansen line, which runs from Tokyo to northern Japan. They will have the same maximum speed of 320 kph as the current E5 series.
