SINGAPORE -- Singapore will launch dual investigations of the Baltimore bridge collapse, in which a vessel flagged under the city-state collided with a flyover in the U.S. state of Maryland. Six construction workers are presumed to have been killed in the accident.

The city-state's Maritime and Port Authority said late Wednesday that it will conduct an investigation to determine whether any rules governed by Singapore law were broken, since the ship that crashed into Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge, the Dali, is registered in Singapore.
