BANGKOK -- Thailand will postpone the shutdown of a Bangkok's century-old central train station after an outpouring of support for keeping it open, the government announced Monday.

The Hua Lamphong Station, which was supposed to reduce train service on Thursday, will remain in operation after Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob ordered a 30-day review on the effect of the reduction.
