HANOI -- Vietnam's Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh approved in principle on Tuesday for local conglomerate Sun Group to invest in a new airline called Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA).

SPA will have a total fleet size of 31 aircraft by 2030, and the project's total investment capital is 2.5 trillion dong (around $99 million), said Sun Group in a statement.
