TOKYO -- A hotel in Shuzenji, a hot spring town west of Tokyo, is offering a peaceful refuge for idol fans seeking solace from the emotional anguish caused by their favorite celebrities' departure from the public eye or disheartening actions.

Avid fans of singers, actors and other idols often experience a deep sense of loss when a beloved celebrity steps away from the spotlight, whether due to retirement or personal reasons such as marriage. To help fans navigate this emotional void, the Izu Marriott Hotel Shuzenji in Shizuoka prefecture will soon offer a unique accommodation plan featuring spa therapy, a digital detox and a shrine ritual where fandom items are purified and respectfully disposed of.
