TOKYO -- U.S.-based Hyatt Hotels will open three hot spring resorts in Japan, offering traditional Japanese-style lodging experiences under a new brand, as more foreign tourists seek new destinations.
Atona is a partnership between Hyatt and a Japanese startup, Kiraku, which works to revitalize parts of Japan by taking advantage of traditional townscapes and natural heritage.
