TOKYO -- Japanese travel agencies expect Asia-bound travel to grow further after many flocked to the region during the summer season, as the yen -- despite a recent strengthening -- remains historically weak and is pushing up prices for trips to the U.S. and Europe.
"We are continuing to expand the lineup for Asia-bound products since we think that Asian destinations will keep gaining popularity going forward," said a spokesperson at Japanese travel agency JTB.
