TOKYO -- Japan will relax some requirements for people looking to offer experiences like agritourism in rural areas, hoping to create more options for foreign visitors as tourism traffic rebounds.

Planning and selling farm stays, for example -- where guests can lodge, work on a farm and cook local dishes or take biking tours -- requires a nationally certified regional travel supervisor on staff.
