TOKYO -- Japanese real estate group Mitsui Fudosan plans to reward homebuyers with vacation getaways at other rental or resort properties held by the company, adding value to the condominiums and houses the developer puts on the market.

The developer aims to capture growing demand for "workation" trips, in which an employee works remotely from a vacation destination.
