TOKYO -- A jungle theme park will open in Okinawa in July, a grand bid to attract Asian visitors to Japan's southernmost prefecture amid a heated tourist boom.
Junglia Okinawa opens July 25, ahead of the summer vacation season. The park will sit on roughly 60 hectares -- the size of 84 soccer pitches -- integrating its 20-plus attractions and 15 dining and drinking facilities into the surrounding nature.
