HONG KONG -- Macao police on Saturday questioned the chairman of the gambling hub's biggest junket agency, a day after a warrant was issued in the city of Wenzhou for his arrest for alleged involvement in illegal cross-border betting activities.
Explaining the move to bring in Suncity Group's Alvin Chau, the Macao government said in a statement, "Suspected violations of Macao laws and regulations will be investigated in accordance with the law and will not be tolerated."
