OSAKA -- With just one month left until the start of Expo 2025 in Osaka, the city's lodging and transportation industries are working overtime to prepare for a huge influx of visitors, although sluggish advance ticket sales have caused some concern.

With the Expo -- which runs from April 13 to Oct. 13 -- expected to attract 28.2 million visitors, hotel operators from Japan and abroad are focusing their attention on the Kansai region that surrounds Osaka.
