Middle East leads in recovery, while Asian countries lag behind

TOKYO -- Foreign tourist numbers have recovered to near pre-pandemic levels globally.

According to a new U.N. World Tourism Organization report, the number of tourists in July was just 10% lower than the figure in the same month of 2019 and was the smallest decline since 2020.
