BANGKOK -- Thailand is considering reversing its decision to extend visa-free stays for tourists to up to 60 days last year, in response to a lower-than-hoped boost to traffic as well as concerns over individuals who abuse the system.

Minister of Tourism and Sports Sorawong Thienthong revealed the plans in mid-March. Details are expected to be finalized at a later cabinet meeting.
