TOKYO -- Singaporean hotelier Ascott and Japanese real estate developer Tokyo Tatemono in late 2029 will open a luxury accommodation in Japan, the companies announced on Tuesday, as Tokyo's central financial district grows into a hotel hot spot.

Ascott, one of the largest serviced apartment and hotel operators in the world, will open Sen/ka Tokyo by The Crest Collection for short-term travelers and long-term residents in Yaesu, near Tokyo Station. The inn will have 92 rooms on four floors, covering an area of roughly 7,100 square meters.
