NAGANO, Japan -- The Nozomi Group, an operator of nursing care and medical facilities in Komoro, Nagano Prefecture, is to look into running similar businesses in Vietnam, where the population is rapidly aging.

In April, Nozomi and Vietnam's government will start studying the feasibility of setting up a model school and care facility in Hanoi. The feasibility study will use 30 million yen ($267,270) of official development assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
