TOKYO -- Japanese electronic component makers are humming with orders from Chinese smartphone makers.
The parts producers are hoping to capture even more of China's rising demand to help Japan boost its exports. Chinese companies are taking ever more of the global smartphone market, while smartphone sales at Samsung Electronics of South Korea and at Apple of the U.S. suffer.
