HO CHI MINH CITY -- Vietnam Dairy Products, known as Vinamilk, secured a $12.5 million deal to export baby formula to Middle Eastern countries as the company aims to boost business in the region by more than 10% this year.
The contract is expected to bring more Vinamilk products to Iraq, Yemen and Syria. The dairy producer entered the Middle East in 1998 and has posted average growth of 38% in the market over the past five years.
