Its operations are carried out through the following business divisions : Office Buildings, Commercial Facilities, Residences, Real Estate Solutions, Parking Lots, Senior, Leisure, Child Care, Overseas Business and Real Estate Fund. The Office Buildings division engages in the urban development; and development and management of commercial properties. The Commercial Facilities division provides the development and management of various commercial facilities where regional characteristics and the experience of customers are mixed. The Residences division provides the business of housing for sale, focusing on the Brillia series, whose key design concepts are 'refinement' and 'comfort,' and the housing for lease business in which it develops and operates properties mainly in central Tokyo. The Real Estate Solutions division provides one-stop, optimal solutions by utilizing various, effective real estate utilization menus that include CRE strategy support, real estate brokerage, asset solution services and rental businesses. The Parking Lots division conducts business in self-driving type multistory parking lots, tower type parking lots, etc. The Senior division engages in the development and operation of residences for elderly people with service and provision of nursing care services. The Leisure division engages in the planning, development and operation of resort hotels. The Overseas Business division provides the management and real estate development in overseas countries. The Real Estate Fund division engages in the management of Japan real estate investment trusts. The Child Care division engages in the opening and operation of daycare centers. The company was founded by Zenjiro Yasuda on October 1, 1896 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
